iLife '09 gets some spiffy updates compared to the previous version, for the final version that works on PowerPC G4 and G5 Macs...

• iPhoto '09 introduces a face-recognition feature for organizing photos featuring certain people, a location service to explore photos by the places they were taken, themed slideshow creation tools, enhanced editing tools (such as the new definition slider and improved saturation slide, retouch brush and red-eye removal tool), travel map creation for photo books, and direct sharing to Facebook and Flickr. 
• iMovie '09 adds some new features and brings back some missing features from iMovie HD (prior to its' iLife '08 redesign), such as introducing the Advance Tools settings (allowing you to add an extra layer of video with the options of doing a cutaway, picture-in-picture or green-screen effect), the Precision Editor for fine-tuning cuts and transitions by the frame, a full-screen Library Browser for presenting your footage, a robust Video Stabilization tool, an Animated Travel Map creator, new video filter effects, and the reintroduction of Themes, Speed/Reverse control and iDVD chapter markers.
• GarageBand '09 introduces interactive Learn To Play lessons for learning to play piano and guitar, with some Basic Lessons included by default (and premium Artist Lessons available for purchase), some new guitar amp and rig settings for plugging in an electric guitar, and an enhanced Magic GarageBand with Jam feature.
• iWeb '09 adds an FTP client for easy upload to other websites domains, in addition to direct MobileMe publishing, along with adding some new widgets such as RSS feeds, YouTube videos and HTML snippets, along with integration with Facebook accounts (such as to notify friends that a user's website had been updated).
• iDVD has had virtually no updates from the previous version except for compatibility, as Apple was feeling that DVDs were already an obsolete technology in favor of sharing HD videos online.
