What is Wolfenstein 3D: First Encounter?

Wolfenstein 3D: First Encounter is the original shareware release of Wolfenstein 3D for the Macintosh. The shareware version of the game is comprised of the first 3 levels of the full version of the game, Wolfenstein 3D: Second Encounter. Second Encounter would later be followed up by Wolfenstein 3D: Third Encounter, as well as a commercial edition that includes the levels and episodes from both Second and Third Encounters.
