Carbon Copy Mac™: allows Macintosh® users to control and view activity on other Macintosh computers. Users can transfer files to and from anothor Macintosh over an AppleTalk® network or through modems.
When a guest visits a host, the host screen is displayed in a window on the guest Macintosh called the “guest window”. The guest mouse and keyboard are used to control the host. A user can view activity on the host or control applications and peripherals from the guest computer as if sitting in front of the host machine.
Carbon Copy Mac can transfer multiple files or folders in the background or foreground. Since Carbon Copy Mac is opened as a desk accessory, it can be used from within any application.
Some uses for Carbon Copy Mac include: • Any Macintosh on a network or using a modem can use Carbon Copy Mac for network management to check project status, and upload and downloades. A network administrator can move files from one workstation to another quickly and easily; • Technical Support - You can support your staff and others.
